These are the general terms and conditions for ordering tickets to the Fløibanen funicular and other products from Fløibanen AS at www.floyen.no.
These general terms and conditions apply to Fløibanen AS as the supplier, and the person who themselves or through other parties, make an order on
the supplier’s website as a contract customer with Fløibanen AS.
The order can be for tickets, activities, the purchase of other products and services, or a combination of the above.
Ticket rates:
Current ticket rates for tickets purchased in 2022 will be available end of March in the ticket portal.
New rates for 2022 will apply to the ticket orders for 2022.
In 2022 there will be low season rates for tickets valid between October 1st until December 31st.
There will be summer rates for tickets valid from April 1st until September 30th .
The ticket rates at Fløibanen include 12 % VAT.
If VAT for tickets in Norway increases in 2022, the ticket rates at Fløibanen will also be subject to increase.

Please register as customer in the ticket portal, and log in as a user to purchase tickets, and approve the agreement and the terms and conditions.
Before finalising an order, the orderer must read and familiarise him/herself with important information about the tickets/product in question.
The customer is responsible for ensuring the purchase is in accordance with their wishes, with respect to the number of people in the group and the date the tickets are ordered for.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the information in the confirmation (sent only as email) is in accordance with the order.
When an order is made, the tickets will be sent as a PDF. The email will contain a receipt and the tickets.
Tickets must be printed before arrival at the Fløibanen funicular, or the email with the QR code ticket can be opened on your mobile phone (all smartphones).
In July and August it is possible to choose to receive a reference code (pick-up code), and the tour escort or guide can pick up the tickets at the Fløibanen ticket office during opening hours. Please check www.floyen.no for ticket office opening hours.
The tickets are scanned at the access gate before boarding.
The Fløibanen funicular has an electronic ticket and access system. Each person travelling must have a valid ticket to board the Fløibanen funicular. This applies to everyone over the age of four. Children up to the age of three can travel free with an adult with a valid ticket.
The QR code ticket is scanned at the access gate from a printout or a mobile phone before boarding, or the tickets can be picked up at the ticket booth using a reference
number, if you selected this option.
Tickets with a reference number can only be picked up during the ticket office opening hours in July and August.
The tickets are only valid for the date you have ordered the tickets for and must be used on this date. Unused tickets will not be refunded. The validity date is stated on the tickets.
It is important that tickets are treated as valuable documents. A fine of NOK 750 may be imposed for invalid, lost or misused tickets, according to Fløibanen AS’s terms and conditions for transport.
When you have correctly completed an online payment, you will receive a receipt by email. The receipt will contain the QR code tickets and all the details about your
purchase, and it must be brought with you to the Fløibanen funicular.
The order has not been completed and is not valid in the following cases:

We use a payment solution from Nets, and you can pay by Visa or MasterCard.
Third parties will not gain access to your personal data or credit card number.
The contract customer (i.e. the tour operator) may cancel orders until 48 hours before arrival at Fløibanen. If it is necessary to change the number of persons or the arrival date, please cancel your order and place a new order.
Tickets purchased for the wrong date, or for the wrong number of people are not refunded.
Tickets purchased online cannot be cancelled or refunded, cf. Chapter 5-19 of the Cancellation Act. This also applies to product packages and campaigns comprising tickets or events on specific dates.
If changes are made to direct and indirect taxes that lead to cost increases for the supplier after the order has been made and paid for, the price can be correspondingly increased for the orderer. The orderer must be notified of the price change immediately.
We disclaim any liability for publishing or copy editing errors on websites and other information disseminated by Fløibanen AS.
Guests are asked to contact Fløibanen AS if they have any issues with ordered tickets and/or events and product packages. If guests and Fløibanen AS are unable to reach agreement, any conflict concerning previous agreements entered into shall be heard by Bergen District Court.
Both parties have the right to withdraw from the agreement if the trip or event cannot be held as a result of acts of war, natural disasters, labour market conflicts, lengthy disruptions to the water or energy supply, fires or other similar major events that neither of the parties could have foreseen or influenced.
