Fløistuen Café

Welcome inside for a cosy break during your hike on Mount Fløyen. Enjoy plenty of delicious treats from the menu and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

At the top of Mount Fløyen, right next to the large playground, you’ll find Fløistuen Café. This charming little café has a cosy atmosphere where you can enjoy something delicious indoors in the warmth or outside on the spacious terrace.

Treat yourself to a freshly brewed cup of coffee or a hot chocolate topped with whipped cream. We offer freshly baked buns, focaccia and other locally sourced baked goods from the pastry department at Fløirestauranten. If you’re looking for something cold, choose from a variety of ice creams or a delicious soft serve with your favourite topping. On warm summer days, the outdoor ice cream stand is also open—perfect for a refreshing break in the sunshine.

Heading off on a hike? We also offer a selection of yoghurt, smoothies and chocolate that are easy to take with you. You can also try our own popular Fløyenbrus, available in elderflower or raspberry flavour.

We also offer a selection of gluten-free and lactose-free products. Just ask us, and we’ll be happy to help.

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed inside Fløistuen Café, so thank you for leaving your four-legged friend outside while you visit.​

Did you know?

  • You’ll find Fløistuen Café at the top of Mount Fløyen, just 6 minutes from Bergen city centre by the Fløibanen funicular.

  • We have our own pastry department at Fløirestauranten, where delicious baked goods are freshly made every day for sale at Fløistuen Café. Locally made and seriously delicious!

  • Free toilets are available just above Fløistuen Café, as well as toilets right by the large playground.

  • To help reduce food waste, any focaccia sandwiches left from the previous day are sold at a reduced price.
