Good to know before your visit

 

  • Toilets and baby changing facilities
    ​Free toilets are located right next to the playground, and you will also find baby changing facilities for the youngest visitors.
     
  • Accessible for everyone
    It is easy to get around with both strollers and wheelchairs. The paths leading to and through the playground are wide and accessible.
     
  • Plenty of seating areas
    Around the playground, you will find several benches and seating areas where adults can take a break and keep an eye on the children while they play.
     
  • Food and drinks nearby
    If you get hungry, it is only a short walk to Fløistuen Café or Fløirestauranten, where you can enjoy everything from coffee, fresh pastries, and ice cream to lunch and dinner. There is also a water station right by the playground, making it easy to refill your bottles.
     
  • Explore the Fløyen area
    Pick up a free map for the nature walk at Fløistuen Shop, and let the children continue their adventure by answering 10 questions around the Fløyen area.
     
  • Barbecue areas at Fløysletten and Skomakerdiket 
    If you would like to prepare your own food, there are covered picnic shelters and barbecue areas both at Fløysletten and by Lake Skomakerdiket. Bring your own charcoal, and please be considerate by cleaning up after yourselves and leaving the barbecue area the way you would like to find it.

Explore the magical Troll Forest

Just above the playground lies Troll Forest – a small enchanted woodland where children can go on an adventure among trolls, mysterious creatures, and fun little challenges along the trail. Try our new nature walk

The nature walk at Mount Fløyen is an exciting and educational adventure for children. Along the trail, they will find 10 questions about plants, animals, and the natural environment in the area. Climbing fun for little adventurers

Behind Troll Forest at Fløysletten, you will find the large climbing playground. This nature park offers lots of exciting challenges for both younger and older children. Can you make it through the obstacle course without touching the ground? And do you dare to take a ride on the small zipline? There is also an exciting climbing tower more than ten metres tall, complete with a slide.
